Physical Quirks: Loves all kinds of Alcohol, loves to sing, will try to get out of any fight without actually having to fight if at all possible.

Weapons & Items: A staff, a sword and a gun. The gun will only rarely be taken out. If at all.

Allies: Logan, his first mate and lover. (Dead)

Background:

Nathaniel grew up on the island off the coast of Kryta. It was there that he grew to love the sea.
When Nathaniel turned 12, he admitted to his parents that he rather kissed the son of their neighbors, than the girl they had picked out for him to marry.
At the time his parents didn't take the comment seriously, because Nathan had always been a clown.
Nathaniel however was very serious and did in fact kiss his crush not long after having admitted it to his parents.
However he got a fist in the face for his trouble.
Heartbroken and sad, he hid onboard the merchant ship that brought supplies to the island regularly.
The captain caught him however, and made him his cabin-boy for the trip to the mainland.
Nathaniel would have stayed on as cabin-boy if not for the fact that the captain died after a fight in a tavern.
So Nathaniel left the ship and offered his services as cabin-boy to another captain, who he encountered at the dock.
The captain was about to refuse, but Nathaniel lied and told the man that he was small for his age.
All though skeptical, the man took him along.
Not long after departure, Nathaniel fount out that he now was cabin-boy on a pirate-ship.
Instead of scared, he was fascinated and endeavored to learn all he could from the crew onboard the ship Lyssa's revenge.
Ten years later he had worked him self up to First mate, only for his Captain to get killed in a battle with the ship of another Pirate.
So Nathaniel took over as Captain, and even winning the fight.
It was in the holding cell of the other pirate ship that Nathaniel found Logan.
Tied up, cuts all over, clothing torn and chained to the hull, Logan did not make a pretty sight.
However there was some indefinable something that made Nathaniel order Logan's release and had him brought to his quarters.
In the following months, Nathaniel took care of Logan.
In return Logan became Nathaniel's most fierce supporter, and not long after was made first mate.
It was right after a hefty battle and a even bigger treasure, that while being mostly very drunk, Nathaniel admitted to Logan to have fallen in love with him.
Logan then confronted Nathaniel with his words the following day, upon which Nathaniel confirmed that yes he was very much in love with Logan.
But had refrained from speaking because he didn't want to be hit in the face (again).
Logan then revealed that he returned Nathaniel's feelings, and then they became lovers.
Several years they spent together, until a major storm made the ship hit the reef near some cantha islands.
Causing the death of most, if not all of the crew.
Nathaniel then washed up on the island belonging to The Forever Knights.
However, upon asking around, discovered that Logan was still missing, most likely dead.
Without a ship Nathaniel is stuck with The Forever Knights.

Nathaniel's Timeline:

1049 AE : Nathaniel was born on an island near Lions Arch.
1061 AE : Nathaniel kisses his first crush.
1062 AE : Nathaniel becomes cabin-boy on the ship Lyssa's Revenge.
1072 AE : Nathaniel Becomes Captain of the Lyssa's Revenge.
1073 AE : Nathaniel and Logan become Lovers.
1075 AE : The Lyssa's Revenge is lost in a storm and Nathaniel gets washed up on the Island of The Forever Knights.
1076 AE : Appropriated a Ship from the knights and sailed off only to be sunk off the shore of a Cantha isle near  The Forged Sword.

Hopes, Dreams and Goals:

Nathaniel has no long term hopes because he lives from day to day.

Nathaniel dreams of finding a good ship, good drinks and a good mate. Not necessarily in that order. So that he can resume his Pirate life on the high seas.

Nathaniel's Goal is to commandeer a ship, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out. Or so he claims.
