Home: No particular place, all though she has a fondness for hunting Charr. So she regularly can be found at Piken.

Appearance: Small, brown hair with flowers in it, blue eyes, Always wears green clothing.

Physical Quirks: Has sensitive hearing.

Weapons & Items: Always has her bow and arrows with her. Keeps key's of all sorts with her because you never know when you need them.
Collects Charr hides for fun and Fur.
When the weather is bad, she wears one of those hides as a cloak, making her small body look like a Charr to anybody who doesn't see the difference.

Allies: Her pet Melandru's Stalker, named Shadow.

Enemies: The ones that kidnapped her friend back in Ascalon.

Role-playing Hints: Almost everything in Local chat is IC, Long distance chats, like Guild Chat or Alliance Chat is OOC Most of the time.

Background:

Left as a Baby, on the door step of the Maxwell couple, Velena was taken in and raised as their own.
However as she grew older, it was apparent that she was not human.
Her size for one stood out by being extremely small, having stopped growing at age 10.
When she turned 16, She decided, she wanted to know her origin.
She then learned the arts of Archery and Healing.
During her study, she encountered a hurt Melandru's stalker, which she used her under developed healing skills on to nurse back to health.
The Stalker, when having been healed, decided to stay with Velena.
When Velena turned 18, she left home to find her real parents and hopefully find a place in society that doesn't include comments on her height.
On her travel she made friends with a young girl living near the city of Ascalon.
Together they had some nice adventures in the surrounding country side.
However then the searing happened and in the confusion, Velena was unable to get to her friend, before she was kidnapped.
Now, Velena's quest is two fold. To find her origin, and to rescue her friend from the kidnappers.
Unfortunately, as of yet, she has found no trace of either.

Velena's Timeline.

1050 AE : Velena is born. Her mother an Woodland Elf, possibly related to Sylvari, Her father a Ranger.
1051 AE : Velena is left on the doorstep of the Maxwell family. This is from when they noted her B-day and age.
1061 AE : Velena stopped growing at 1,45 M
1067 AE : The Maxwell's tell Velena that she's adopted.
1069 AE : Velena leaves the Maxwell home, to search for her real parents.
1070 AE : Charr invade human kingdoms. The Searing ravages Tyria.
1072 AE : Velena leaves Ascalon to search for her friend Gwen.
1075 AE : Finds her way to the Canthan Isles and the Inn of the Four Stags.
1076 AE : Finds her way in to The Forged Sword.

Hopes Dreams and Goals.

Velena hopes to one day find her friend Gwen. She will travel the world for just that reason.

Velena dreams of one day to be reunited with her real parents.

For the present, Velena will help out her friends as much as she can, because she believes that through helping them, she will one day find all that she is looking for.

Mother: Melia Edhelharn, one of the daughters of Arwen and King Aragorn Edhelharn.
One of the last of the royal Half-elven still alive. Possibly related to the Sylvari.
Father: Robin of Shireswood.

They never married.

Velena's real name is Luthaen Edhelharn, and woud have been immortal like her mother if not for her fathers actions.
Who ad abducted her as an infant and left her with the Maxwell's.
He did this as revenge because Melia would not marry him or accept him as Velena's father.

Melia wanted no part in mortal death, having seen what had happened to Her parents.

Melia still lives in Elphame, the place she moved to after her parents died.
